How Do I Install It?
The StealthVue PennyCam can be easily installed by either the store owner or his/her security professional.
Running The Cables:
If you notice, in the rear of either side of the PennyCam there is a cable notch. You can simply locate the camera near the cash drawer of your register, run the
cable under your cash drawer and use the existing hole in your countertop that your
POS cables are run through.

The Cable Notch
The other option is to drill a 1/4" hole through your counter. Simply decide where
you want the unit to place on the counter, and drill a hole in the counter
approximately where the rear of the unit will rest. You can then feed up the small
interface cable which simply plugs into the camera within the unit.

BNC and Power
Once you have the cable run, the camera interfaces with your DVR or recording device using a standard BNC connector - the typical connector for most commercial surveillance systems. Power is provided through the included 12vdc adapter, or your existing power supply capable of producing 12vdc @ 500ma.
Once you have decided on a location on the camera by testing the output
of the unit before securing it to the counter,
you can then remove the backing from the adhesive strips and apply firmly to your countertop.
To remove from
the counter, gently run a fine razor blade under the tray where
the adhesive
strips are to seperate the two halves of the adhesive. You will now
need to
remove the adhesive remnants and apply new adhesive strips to the unit
(Available at most hardware stores)
